Men's Soccer Announces 2010 Summer Camps

YORK, PA - The York College men's soccer program, under the direction head coach Mark Ludwig, has recently announced the Spartans' 2010 summer soccer camp schedule.

The Spartans will host camps on the campus of York College beginning in late July with the Boys' / Girls' Soccer Academy as well as the High School Girls' Academy. A team camp is scheduled for July 29 through August 1.

"We strive to give everyone that comes to our camps a great soccer experience," Ludwig said. "It is our mission that when the players leave here we want each of them to be better soccer players than when they came. I believe that we can accomplish that by teaching them the game in an enjoyable and fun, yet competitive environment."

York finished the 2009 season with a myriad of accolades. The Spartans were ranked seventh in the country in the final NSCAA poll, won their third Capital Athletic Conference Tournament championship in the past five seasons, and senior Jon Ports (Baltimore, Md./McDonogh) was named the NSCAA Division III Men's Soccer Player-of-the-Year.
