Matt Swiderski opens his second season with the York squad looking to capitalize on a rookie campaign in which he showed continual development. A big, strong athlete, Swiderski has the potential to play a variety of positions for the Green and White. As a forward, he has the ability to hold the ball and bring others into the attack. Lining up as a central defender, his intelligence and simple play allow him to win balls and maintain possession. Following a full year of experience, including a strong offseason, Swiderski could see quality minutes in 2009.
