YORK, PA-The York College
athletic department has established the ticket policy for the
Spartan men’s soccer second round NCAA Tournament match
on Sunday, November 16 at 1:00 pm. The Spartans will face either
Johns Hopkins or Ithaca in the match as those two squads will
square off on Thursday in the tournament’s opening round.
The NCAA has established ticket prices
for all tournament matches. Adults (18 to 59) are $6.00 while
senior citizens (60 and up), York College students with a valid ID,
and children ages 13 through 18 are $3.00. Children ages 3 through
12 are $2.00 while children under 3 are free.
As the York College athletic department has
done in the past, the first 200 York College students with ID are
free, compliments of the athletic department. There will be two
days of presale when tickets may be purchased prior to Sunday.
Tickets will be on sale on Thursday, November 13 and Friday,
November 14 at the front desk of the Grumbacher Sport
& Fitness Center. The tickets will be available from
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on both days. The gates will open on Sunday
at 12:00 p.m., one hour prior to the start of the contest for those
who did not buy presale tickets.
York College students wishing to get one of the
200 free tickets must show their ID and they are allowed just
one ticket per ID. Once those 200 tickets are exhausted, students
will need to purchase tickets at the $3.00 face value.
