Evan Scheffey enters his junior year as a key cog on the Spartan defense. Scheffey, a Spartan captain, was named to the d3kicks.com All-American squad after earning first-team All-CAC accolades in 2006. He played in and started all 24 contests as he helped lead a Spartan defense that allowed just 10 goals against all season. Scheffey provides the team with a solid athlete who can win the ball and help maintain possession. As a vocal leader in the back, he will look to be, once again, one of the top central defenders in the nation. Scheffey is the son of Drew and Karen Scheffey.
