The opening 15 minutes of play was slow as neither team could get any substantial momentum. Hutson started the scoring followed by a pair of Davis goals before freshman Taylor Tolbert (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) capped the quarter scoring with his second goal in as many games. The Spartans have now outscored their four opponents 17-3 in the third quarter this season.
