YORK, Pa. – Following a strong two-game performance last week, York College men's lacrosse standout James Lowe has been selected as the latest Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week.
Lowe helped lead the Spartans to a 2-0 week, tallying nine points on five goals and four assists.
The sophomore attack posted three goals and one assist against St. Mary's in a mid-week 7-4 win over the Seahawks. That victory over St. Mary's marks only the second time in the 12-year history of the program that the Spartans' bested the Seahawks.
Against Wesley at home on Saturday, Lowe registered two goals and three helpers as the Green and White defeated Hood 18-8.
For the season, Lowe has notched 24 goals and eight assists as the Spartans currently sit at 9-2 and a flawless 5-0 in CAC play.
York returns to action on Wednesday, April 6, when they travel to Salisbury for a 7:00 pm under-the-light contest with the nationally-ranked Sea Gulls.
