Gamble Named CAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

YORK, PA - Following a tremendous six-goal performance in York's 16-11 home-opening victory over St. Vincent last Saturday, junior attack Josh Gamble (Easton, Md./Easton) has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

In the victory, Gamble scored a game-high six tallies and added an assist on the game-winning goal as the Spartans picked up their first win of the season.

Half of Gamble’s six notches were scored in the decisive fourth quarter, when the Spartans broke open a 9-8 lead for a five-goal victory.

For the season, Gamble is currently second on the squad with 11 goals while he has also added five helpers for the Green and White.
