Dean Gamber begins his 17th season on the coaching staff after his four-year Spartan career. Gamber’s responsibilities include recruiting and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the program. His tireless recruiting efforts have paid dividends in the recent Spartan recruiting classes. Gamber’s commitment to the program have allowed the program to rise to prominence in the CAC and the Mid-Atlantic region.    
    Gamber served as one of the co-captains on the 1994-95 squad that won 20 games and went to the NCAA tournament. Gamber averaged 6.8 points as a guard on that team. His teams played in three CAC championship games and won two CAC regular season championships. He was also a member of the school’s first NCAA Tournament team.
    Gamber resides with his wife, Beth, and daughters, Kelsey and Makenzie, in Dover, PA.
    He works as the York College mail services coordinator.
