Brady Chosen as CAC Men's Basketball Athlete-of-the-Week

YORK, PA - York College senior captain Nick Brady (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) has been chosen as the latest addition to the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player-of-the-Week Honor Roll after leading the Green and White to a pair of conference victories last week.

Brady led the 8-1 Spartans to a Wednesday night victory over Gallaudet before upsetting #14 St. on Saturday.

In the win over the Seahawks, Brady canned the game-winning three pointer with less than five seconds left to lift York to the 64-61 win. Brady drained a game-high 22 points as he was 9-for-19 from the floor including three triples and a pair of free throws. Brady also had a pair of steals and three rebounds in the win.

Against Gallaudet, he had 15 points and nine rebounds in the victory.

Brady finished the week averaging 18.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 assists in 64 total minutes of action. Brady shot 46.9% from the floor, 33% from three, and 100% from the free throw line.

Brady will now look to lead the Spartans against CAC rival Wesley College in an 8:00 p.m. tilt Monday night at York’s Grumbacher Sport & Fitness Center.
