2007-08: Begins his senior year as one of the
top players in the Capital Athletic Conference and the Mid-Atlantic
region . . . is a long, athletic player that has continued to work
hard to increase his strength during the summer . . . has the
ability to shoot the ball from beyond the arc but also has great
touch inside the paint . . . McGowan will need to assume more of a
leadership role as he is a Spartan co-captain this year.
2006-07: Had yet another incredible season
earning first-team All-American honors from the National
Association of Basketball Coaches, the first such selection in the
history of the program . . . was also named to the NABC All-Mid

Mid-Atlantic region selection . . . earned Capital Athletic
Conference first-team honors . . . chosen as the Player-of-the-Year
in the NABC Mid-Atlantic Region, d3hoops.com Mid-Atlantic Region,
and the CAC . . . played in and started all 26 Spartan contests
finishing the year averaging a team-leading 21.7 points and 8.4
rebounds . . . led the green and white in scoring in 21 contests .

. scored 20 plus points 15 times, while tallying 30 plus points on
four occasions . . . eclipsed the 1,000 point mark on December 12

defensive rebounds at 6.4 per game . . . had seven double-doubles.
. . hit a career-best 12 free throws in the January 31 overtime
victory at Gallaudet . . . pulled down at least six rebounds
in 23 of 26 games . . . blocked a season-high three shots on two
occasions, once in the 72-70 defeat of Albright on Nov. 26 and then
again at Gallaudet on Jan. 31 . . . handed out four assists in the
January 25 win over Goucher, tying his career high.
2005-06: Built on an outstanding freshman year
with an even better sophomore campaign . . . earned first-team
All-Capital Athletic Conference honors . . . earned
NABC All-Mid Atlantic region accolades . . . was named to the
d3hoops.com All-Mid Atlantic region second team . . . played in all
29 games, starting 25 of those contests . . . led the Spartans in
scoring as he poured in 17.8 points per game . . . also led the
green and white in rebounding, pulling in 6.4 caroms per game . . .
shot 49.7% (192-for-386) from the field including 20 threes .
. . made a career-high 164 trips to the free throw line, draining a
team-best 111 free throws . . . blocked a team-best 35 shots for
the year . . . reached double figures in 28 of his 29 games
including a career-high 32 points in the January 21 win over Mary
Washington . . . pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds in the
November 19 win at Dickinson . . . was named the Pizza Hut
Dickinson College Tip-Off Tournament MVP as he scored 42 points and
grabbed 18 rebounds in the two tournament games . . . grabbed at
least three rebounds in every game including four double digit
efforts . . . had four double-doubles for the year.
2004-05: Had an outstanding freshman campaign as
he was named the Capital
Athletic Conference Rookie-of-the-Year . . . finished
third on the team in scoring as he averaged 10.6 points per game .
. . played in all 32 contests, drawing a start in eight of those
contests . . . pulled down 4.3 rebounds per game while he also
recorded 25 blocked shots and 20 steals for the green and white . .
. had a monster game in the win over St. Mary’s on February
12 as he poured in a season-high 29 points while he also
established a season-high with 12 rebounds . . . recorded double
figures in 16 games including three 20-plus point efforts . . .
began his career with 20 points in 19 minutes in the win
over Mt. Aloysius on November 19 . . . had 20 points in the
Coaches vs. Cancer championship game win over Edgewood . . .
averaged 12.3 points per game during the CAC tournament . . .
reached double figures in three of the five NCAA tournament
games including 18 points in the loss to Calvin . . . scored in
