Golfers Finish Second at Susquehanna Spring Invitational

HUMMELS WHARF, PA – The York College men's golf squad finished second at the seven team Susquehanna University Spring Invitational at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club in Hummels Wharf, PA on Friday afternoon.

The Spartans shot a team total of 321, eight strokes back of tournament champion and host Susquehanna as the Crusaders shot a team score of 313.

The Spartan tandem of David Boslough (Dalton, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) and Kevin Long (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) led the Green and White as they tied for fourth as they each fired an eight-over-par 79. Susquehanna's Ryan Bruvik, Anthony Canarie and Dylan Gladd all tied for first with a seven-over-par 78s.

Junior Travis Oot (Kirkville, N.Y./East Syracuse Minoa) finished a stroke back of Boslough and Long as he shot an 80. Freshman Ryan Wolbach (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyerton) was the final Spartan finisher as he placed 11th with a score of 83.

The Spartans return to action on Tuesday afternoon when they travel to the Messiah College Falcon Spring Classic at Blue Ridge Country Club. The tournament is slated for a noon start.
