The York College golf squad closed out their 2010-2011 season on a strong note as they tied for second at the Messiah College Falcon Spring Classic at Blue Ridge Country Club in Harrisburg, PA. The Spartans finished with a team score of 323 to tie with Muhlenberg for second, one stroke back of team champion Albright. FDU-Florham finished fourth and Stevenson placed fifth to round out the top five squads.
The York College golf squad continued their strong play with a tournament championship at the Ursinus Invitational at Stonewall Golf Club – North Course in Elverson, PA on Tuesday. The Spartans edged Muhlenberg as they shot a 313, one stroke better than the Mules. Albright finished third while Delaware Valley and Swarthmore rounded out the top five. The tournament championship is the second of the spring season for the Spartans.

The Spartans finished two strokes back of team champion Albright as the Green and White recorded a team score of 309. York College junior golfer Andrew Schmehl was named the Capital Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Schmehl finished fourth at the Glenmaura National Collegiate Invitational with a two-day total of 150.

The York College golf squad finished 8th of 18 teams at Thursday's Elizabethtown College Blue Jay Invitational at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA. The Spartans shot a team total of 331 as they finished four strokes out of a top five team finish.
Spartan golfer Adam Dupler was named the Capital Athletic Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week after leading the Spartans to the team championship of the 2011 York College Spring Invitational. The junior was the top Spartan finisher and was also the top CAC finisher in the tournament.

The Spartans shot a team total of 327 to tie with Stevenson University in the 11 team field. Gettysburg won the tournament with a team score of 313 while Messiah placed second followed by Dickinson.

They finished one stroke out of third and eight strokes out of second. The host Franklin & Marshall Diplomats finished first with a team score of 308.
