Dupler Named CAC Golfer-of-the-Week

YORK, PA – York College freshman
Adam Dupler (York Haven, Pa./Red Land) has been
selected as the Capital Athletic Conference Golfer-of-the-Week
after his strong performance in the last week of September.
Dupler receives the honor after carding a one-under-par 71 at the
Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational as he led the Spartans to a
third-place team finish in the 21-team tournament. Dupler was just
two shots off the winning pace and was awarded the individual
second-place on a match of cards.
The freshman then backed-up that performance at the Blue Jay
Invitational hosted by Elizabethtown College. Dupler shot an 83 for
the match and was the third Spartan finisher.
For the fall season, Dupler leads the York squad with a 77.3
stroke average.
“Adam has done a great job for us already and it is only his
freshman season,” Spartan head coach Jeff Gamber said.
“I believe we are going to see big things from him in the
future.”
Dupler will look to continue his strong play on Monday, September
6, as the Spartans travel to Lancaster for the Franklin and
Marshall Fall Invitational. The tournament tees-off at 1:00 pm.
