DeCastro Named CAC Golf Athlete of the Week
YORK, PA – Senior Jimmy DeCastro
(Mantoloking, N.J./Gov. Livingston) has been chosen as
this week’s Capital Athletic Conference Golf Athlete of the
Week for his stellar performance at the Elizabethtown Spring
Invitational.
DeCastro led the Spartans to their third
tournament win of 2008-09. The senior, who turned-in a six-over-par
77 at the Hershey East Country Club, tied for sixth-place at the
99-player tournament, for the Spartans’ best individual
finish.
For the year, DeCastro has averaged 80.0
strokes per round including a low-round of 76.
DeCastro and the Spartans will next travel to
the two-day Glenmaura Collegiate Invitational, which begins on
Sunday, April 19, at noon.
