Maura Gordon

Maura Gordon enters her first season as an assistant coach for the York College field hockey program.
Gordon is a recent graduate of Cabrini College where she
earned a B.A. in The Business and Psychology of an Exercise
Facility for Special Needs Children and minored in Sports
Management.
During her time at Cabrini, Gordon was a standout field hockey
player. In October of her senior year she surpassed 100 career
points, making her one of less than 20 active NCAA Division III
field hockey players to do so. In each of her four years on the
field hockey team Gordon made first team All-CSAC. She helped her
team get to the CSAC Tournament every season and in her sophomore
year Cabrini made it to the NCAA tournament.
Gordon’s professional experience includes being part of
the fitness staff at the Cabrini College Dixon Fitness Center, as
well as being an assistant for the exercise program for children
with special needs called Growing Stronger. She was also a
president of SAAC and promoted student-athlete wellness and
substance abuse prevention at the Apple Conference in
California.
