2011: Started in all 20 games for the Spartans’ . . . played 987 minutes . . . tallied one assist for one point . . . took eight shots with five on goal . . . recorded a single-game high one assist during the Oct. 7 game at Stevenson . . . took a single-game high three shots against Mary Washington on Sept. 24.

2010: Played in all 20 games for the Spartans’, drawing seven starts during the year . . . saw much of her time in a defensive role . . . did record three shots on the season.

Personal: Is an elementary education major . . . the daughter of Kevin and Stephanie Burk . . . born on April 24, 1990 . . . played club hockey for USA Futures  . . . was a Senior All-Star and Division I Senior All-Star in high school . . . hobbies including baking, running, and traveling . . . chose York because she “decided I wanted to go to a smaller school that’s closer to home” . . . lists her most significant athletic achievement as “being captain my senior year of high school and ending with the best season in over five years” . . . after graduation she plans to “teach first or second grade, get married, have a family . . . and TRAVEL!” . . . carries an impressive 4.00 cumulative GPA . . . is a five-time Dean’s List member.
