Joan Shultis begins her second year in the green and white after playing in all 21 Spartan contests in just her rookie season. Shultis, who drew ten starts in 2007, is a very athletic player who has the physical abilities to become a shut-down defender in the CAC. A mentally tough athlete, Shultis should be a key cog in the Spartan backline and an important factor in York’s success in 2008.
