Colin Porter (Hanover, Pa./South Western) then scored a pair with a single to right center as the Spartan deficit was trimmed to 6-4.
York cut the Ithaca lead to 6-5 in the ninth as Jimmy King (Frederick, Md./Frederick) walked to open the inning. He would score on a Hershey double to left center. After a ground out, Colbe Herr (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) ripped a double to right center but Hershey was cut down at the plate attempting to score the tying run. The Bombers got the final out of the game on a ground out as they hung on for the victory.
