2011: Begins his senior year as a starter in the outfield for the Spartans . . . is an athletic outfield that brings a strong left-handed stick to the Spartan lineup . . . will likely hit somewhere in the middle of the Spartan lineup . . . runs well and also tracks the ball well in right field . . . has played in 98 career games as he owns a career .305 batting average with 45 runs scored, 50 RBI, 19 doubles, three triples and six home runs.
2010: Played in 41 games, drawing a start in 37 of those contests . . . hit .307 with 29 RBI, 25 runs scored, eight doubles, three triples and five home runs . . . registered a .535 slugging percentage and a .343 on-base percentage . . . stole four bases in six attempts . . . had at least one hit in 25 games while he recorded 14 mult-hit games . . . had a career-high three hits in three games including a huge game at Salisbury on April 7 as he was 3-for-6 with three runs scored and a career-high seven RBI . . . he homered twice in that win over the Sea Gulls while he also had a career-high nine total bases in that contest . . . tied a career-high with two doubles in the April 14 CAC tournament game against Mary Washington.
2009: Played in 39 games as he earned a start in 25 of those games . . . hit .330 with 15 runs scored, 15 RBI, 10 doubles and a home run . . . notched at least on hit in 21 games including seven multi-hit games . . . established a career-high with three hits on March 4 against Catholic and tied that total on May 13 in the NCAA Tournament win over NC Wesleyan . . . drove in a season-high four runs in the March 4 win over CUA . . . finished the year with a .468 slugging percentage and a .360 on-base percentage.
2008: Played in 18 games, starting three during his freshman year . . . had 22 at-bats during the year as he scored five runs with one double and six RBI . . . had one hit in four games for the Spartans . . . stole one base while he did not commit an error in the outfield.
Personal: Is the son of Pat and Arlene Doyle and is a Criminal Justice major . . . lists Baltimore Raven all-pro safety Ed Reed as his favorite athlete . . . lists father Pat as the person he most admires.
