C.T. Stanley begins his junior campaign as a cornerstone of the Spartan lineup in 2010. Stanley, who will bat cleanup in the Spartan order, has made dramatic strides as a defensive first baseman. Stanley started in all 43 games last year and hit nine home runs last year. Stanely hopes to improve his .291 batting average with a refined approach that should see his average improve without a drop-off in power. Defensively, he is a big target for his fellow infielders as he has soft hands and good footwork. Stanley is a business administration major and the son of Ken Stanley and Glori Brennan.
