DUSTIN WORTHMAN (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) was
named the CAC Baseball Player of the Week after hitting .714
(15-for-21) with a double, five runs scored, four RBI and six
stolen bases as the Spartans won four
of five games and clinched the No. 2 seed in the CAC
playoffs. He had three hits in each game of a doubleheader
sweep at Stevenson, then banged out four hits in a mid-week victory
over Mary Washington. In Saturday’s DH sweep vs. UMW,
Worthman ripped five hits and stole four bases.
