Cook Named CAC Co-Player of the Week

YORK, PA - York College sophomore Kyle Cook (Pylesville, Md./North Harford) has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Baseball Co-Player of the Week as announced by the Capital Athletic Conference office on Monday afternoon.

Cook, who earned the honor on March 16, led the Spartans to a 3-1 week including a pair of Capital Athletic Conference wins.

He started the week with a 4-for-4 performance in the Spartans' 4-0 win over Lebanon Valley on Tuesday. He also scored two runs and stole a base in the victory.

Cook followed that on Saturday with a 4-for-4 performance in game one against Wesley. He also scored three runs in the game.

In game two against the Wolverines, Cook was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.

For the week, Cook hit .625 with six runs scored and an RBI.
