Brandon Ullom joins the Spartan program from South Plainfield High School in South Plainfield, N.J. He is a very solid righthander right now that will likely see most of his time from the bullpen during his freshman year. He features a good fastball and a rapidly developing change up. Ullom impressed the coaches in the fall and he will have a chance to be a contributor as a freshman. Ullom had a very good senior year at South Plainfield as he posted a 2.72 ERA and led his team with 36 strikeouts. Ullom is a criminal justice major and is the son of Kurt and Carol Ullom.
