Adam Hegedus comes to York College from Red Land High School after a solid career. He gives York great depth at third base and will have the chance to earn reserve innings as a freshman. Hegedus has good hands and is very steady in making the routine plays. At the plate, Hegedus has a good, reliable swing that allows him to hit for a good average with some gap power. The coaching staff feels that Hegedus will have the opportunity to be a key contributor as his career progresses. Hegedus is an undeclared major and the son of Larry Hegedus.
