Mike Santoro begins his second year in the green and white after a very solid junior campaign that saw him catch almost every inning for York. In 2007, Santoro hit .321 with 35 runs scored and 31 RBI as he was named second-team All-CAC. He has worked hard to improve his throwing mechanics and should continue to be a top-flight defensive catcher. He is an excellent leader for the Spartans and will serve as a captain this year. He is a business administration major and the son of Andrew and Lourdes Santoro.
